Q: Doesn't Large Format mean huge files,
it's larger printing right?
A:
Well, most people think that just
because it's large format the file has
to be 300dpi at actual size. If you
created a Photoshop file for a banner
that was 48'' x 96'' at 300dpi, it would
be a gigabyte! You can simply create
your files at 1/3 scale (or 33% and work
at 300dpi). If you have limitations on
the size in the design program you're
using, you can scale it down to 10% and
work at 1000dpi. It would be best to
design in a vector (scalable) program
though because your files are much
smaller. |

Q: When I have you design something for me
(logo, ad, brochure, etc.) do I own
the rights to it or do you?
A:
We design for one purpose... YOU.
Our designs belong to us and
anything created by an employee of
Kentucky Wraps belongs to us, not the
employee. However, we do not necessarily
require the ownership of the artwork.
Providing you are in good standing with
our financing department, you may
request an ownership certificate. This
certificate provides you with full
ownership to the logo, artwork and
rights to reproduce. The only thing we
will retain is the right to use it in
our marketing (in a respectful manner)
as examples of work we have created.
Artwork is available on Disc for a cost. |

Q: I have suppliers close to me, why should I use
Kentucky Wraps?
A:
Your suppliers may not offer the quality
or affordability that we offer. We are
looking out for our customers best
interest and know that word of mouth and
good repoire make for a positive
business relationship. |

 |
Q: What kind of materials do you use?
A:
Since day one, we have been testing and
torturing our suppliers until we've
found the best supplies and materials.
We are constantly updating our materials
list to ensure we get the best the
industry has for the money. We use only
certified materials for the equipment to
ensure the best possible print quality.
We also quality check and test print
every roll of material we print on
before we run your jobs. |

|
 |
Q: What kind of payment do you accept?
A:
Cash, Money Orders, Cashier's Checks,
Online Payments, Paypal, VISA, Master
Card, American Express and Checks (as
long as they're not made of rubber :)
You can make a payment on our "Make a Payment" Page. |

Q: What if I don't really know what I want?
A:
You are not alone. Many people come to
us with a skill or talent to produce a
quality product or provide an
outstanding service, yet they have
absolutely no design abilities or
creativity and they openly (humbly)
admit it. Great! because I can't replace
the engine on my car either. We all do
our parts to make the world go round'.
Our Part is to make our
customer's business look great! Look at
our forms section for some helpful tools
that will guide you through the process
of pulling the right information out so
we can design a piece that they you
love! |

 |
Q: How do I provide high resolution photographs legally?
A:
Great question! We obviously need really
good photos if we're going to impress
our customers, right? well, you can't
exactly go searching the net for a
photo, for two reasons:
1. You could be sued for making a profit
off of someone else's work.
2. You usually won't find a good quality
image worth using on the net.
The solution:
www.istock.com!
They are really reasonably priced and
they have a huge selection. |

Q: How do specials work?
A:
In this business (as you probably
already know) suppliers are sometimes
overstocked on certain products and
materials. So we take advantage of these
offers and pass the savings on to you.
This is why we will have unique specials
from time to time that will seem
surprisingly low. We also have
introductory offers to gain new
accounts. These are a loss for us in the
beginning but we see the value in future
because we are all about relationships.
We know you'll be back for more, because
we're that confident in our quality and
care. |

Q: How will I know if my colors will print accurately?
A:
We calibrate our machines often and we
also print a verification test print
before every job to ensure all is
accurate. We will even print a sample
"Proof" print if you need it. The only
down side to proofs are that they delay
the final print until you approve it. We
will verify before printing if you
specify which colors you want to be
accurate. Due to the coating process and
the type of UV Inks that are involved
with large format printing, we cannot
guarantee 100% accuracy, so we always
suggest getting a proof before printing
large jobs or difficult ones. |
| |
|
 |
Q: How do I know if my file will print the right size?
A:
We require the vertical and horizontal
dimensions of the final print so we can
ensure your print is accurate every
time. |
| |
|
 |
Q: What if I need a job printed really fast?
A:
Beggars can't be choosers! Just kidding,
depending on the job process, we may be
able to bump other jobs back and put
priority on yours. This will of course
incur a "Rush Fee" to cut to the head of
the line. We will always do our best to
be diligent with our time frames on a
regular job.

 |
Q: What if I am a wholesaler of yours and have a
customer that needs a special price or
if I need
to price match in order to get a
really large job?
A:
We can't always do special pricing but
from time to time, we can definitely
help you get that really good account by
adjusting the wholesale price so you can
land the deal. |
| |
|
 |
Q: What if the job gets lost or damaged in shipping?
A:
We only ship through carriers that we
can insure with. Some carriers will not
guarantee the package will get to it's
destination on time or in good shape.
